1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

the public health response to this has to be “close the camps and free them all” and nothing less
5/ “I have already spent more than 60 days waking up eating the same repetitive meals…going to the doctor and that the only thing they tell you is to drink more water and the worst thing is that it seems like the water is what makes people sick here…”

Genuinely curious whether Rings have been taken down these past 2 months in the Twin Cities area. Thinking about a street near mine where I always see a lot of chatter about what people see on their Rings (lots of package thieves around, etc)—I’m positive they all hate ICE now—what’s this look like?
jack asked if i would sketch up a poster to tell people in nearby neighborhoods about the partnership between flock and ring, and this is what i came up with. it can be printed on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.

if anything, bad bunny thinks there should be 49 states, at MOST
btw don’t use Bad Bunny’s halftime show to call for Puerto Rico statehood - his album is quite literally AGAINST statehood. maybe listen to his body of work before trying to use it to push for more active colonization of our country.

The sugarcane fields on the field. The jibarito victims of Luma. The purposeful showcasing of Puerto Rican joy - piraguas, our sense of community, our defiance in the face of hostility.

Then adding Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and appearances by Pedro Pascal and Cardi.

Well fucking played, Benito.
