Lol at the folks online acting like people moving on from D&D is some sort of unprecedented cultural shift, as opposed to the absolutely most predictable thing that could possibly happen. It has happened to every generation of D&D players since 1974.

We are barreling toward a full blown constitutional crisis.

Trump's announcement that he's ending thousands of aid contracts FUNDED BY CONGRESS is unconstitutional and illegal - and horrible for our security.

The "america needs to get over its dictator-phobia," monarchist, "black people were better off under slavery" defining intellectual of the Trump movement has his NYT moment:

‘The Interview’: Curtis Yarvin Says Democracy is Done

Here is my painted version of Zor'yal Lifeswallower from Kingdoms & Warfare by @hellomcdm.bsky.social, sculpted by the folks at @trenchworx.bsky.social

I painted it using the art as a guide for colors, and I'm pretty happy how this happy little horror turned out.

Draw Steel is great because you can randomly open your notebook three months later to see "Forbidden Lore" scrawled at the top of a page and get really intrigued for a moment.

They stoked hatred and prejudice to score political points and show they were “doing something” in response to the attack.

I see the same thing happening today with the trans community. They are politically vulnerable and the subject of attack ads and bullying. It is shameful and wrong. /2

I would like to speak up today for the trans community.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1

Even for those of us who make a STUDY of understanding and organizing against Nazis don't need or want to be submerged in Nazi social media soup all the time.

When far right extremists are in the mix with the rest of us, they don't help us to understand their motivations. They just lie, lie, lie.
I do not want to see Nazis or spend time trying to understand the motivations of Nazis and if that means that I am part of an “echo chamber” sign me up

also nobody calling it that has ever spent five minutes trying to get leftists to agree on anything
It’s so funny and noticeable how only left leaning spaces get called “echo chambers.” Only left wing people get told we need to learn to see other people’s perspectives and understand their motivations. Do conservatives want to be understood, or do they want to dominate conversations?

It's exactly what I've been trying to explain to people. If you make something that people fall in love with? You have made something that many people will hate just as strongly.
