This is a huge crisis that we must do our part on by rejecting generative AI. The more it infiltrates our systems, the more fucked we are over time.
NVidia chief creep says resistance and scorn for AI have done a lot of harm. Good. Nice confirmation it's working. Keep it up. Although the main thing is this stuff is harmful crap so the mind and body tend to revolt against it automatically.

while my first instinct is obv to rebuke folks who somehow think ICE is totally operating within the law and due process, I do have to come to terms with the fact that we seem to disagree on whether undocumented people should be incarcerated on that fact in the first place, which is apparently weird

2025 isn't particularly a year I want to immortalize in a bunch of posts - got very sick, got hurt, lost a cat, burned out - I'm mostly hoping 2026 is kinder to my ass and I can actually have the space to write more and do something new and interesting with my photography, freelance more, etc.
