Lutnick is the current Secretary of Commerce and Epstein sent this email three months before he died.
Epstein mocked Trump for “leaving his nose print on the glass” while watching young women, wrote that Trump knew about illicit activity tied to Mar-a-Lago, and visited “many times,” and noted Trump’s planned visit to his neighbor Howard Lutnick’s house.

The correspondence between a NYT reporter & Epstein is extraordinary. But the NYT also has questions to answer: it fired him for soliciting a donation from Epstein. Did it not conduct any sort of investigation? Or did it just decide to not make public?

“The central character in this is Robbie Gibb. The former Conservative press secretary at 10 Downing Street, appointed to the BBC board by Boris Johnson’s government in 2021.”That sentence alone is reason enough to remove him immediately!!!

Great read. Though I’m of the opinion that Gibb, Johnson, Trump etc., are very much in cahoots in an effort to destroy the BBC, much like they are in cahoots to move the Overton window far to the right in an effort to dismantle democracy. It has all the appearances of a fascist conspiracy.

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

And if we think it’s bad now, imagine what it could look like, say, two months from a U.K. general election?

Could imagine huge sums in US far right cash flooding in, much of what would only be declared after the election (our electoral rules really are a jape)
Be clear, the American far right are coming for British democracy.

Robbie Gibb’s job: Destroy the BBC.
The BBC is tearing itself apart to appease publications and politicians who want to see it die.

An absolutely kamikaze approach to running a media organisation. I can't see it ending well.

Michael Prescott and Sir Robbie Gibb both bailed out of journalism years ago, and enjoy lucrative careers in corporate PR. And now they are the arbiters of BBC editorial standards. Go figure www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/media/...

Robbie Gibb again. Why has Nandy not sacked him? He has undermined trust in BBC News whilst giving the far right, Farage & Reform a huge platform with only a minimal amount of balance being allowed, balance that is now being shat on. Great investigation. Comprehensive indeed. But I’d argue it isn’t revelatory or shocking. Merely confirming with hard data what’s been obvious for a few years. Musk put into action his reason for buying it: convert Twitter into to a radicalisation machine on behalf of far-right, dictators, Nazis.

People forgot what happened in the first term. A big reason why is that nearly all media outlets started paywalling their articles in 2021. Trump's Twitter account was also deleted in 2021, and scores of digital media outlets went under from 2021-2024 -- erasing recent history in the process.
