Gay, beardy, lefty with occasional nerdy tendencies, cautiously re-dipping his toes into social media & sometimes regretting their decision.
Transgender women are gradually being turned into non-persons, aren't they. Any news about the IOCC views on transgender men, or don't they exist for the current purposes of the alt.right culture war being aimed at the LGBTQ+ communities? Shameful behaviour, not that they or the Guardian care.

@theguardian.com Non Crime Hate is now fine is it. I guess we can now expect threats of violence, harassment & abuse aimed at the trans & LGBTQ+ communities, different ethnic & religious communities, women, children, whoever too then. The UK just became unsafer www.theguardian.com/culture/2025...

I wish I could honestly say this is a surprise but given the enthusiastic way Trump has marched the Republicans to the far right, pardoned thugs, expressed himself many times in speeches, I'm not. There's no excusing any of this, though I'm sure MAGA will try.
EXCLUSIVE: Thousands of leaked messages show leaders of Young Republican groups joking about gas chambers, slavery and rape in a private Telegram chat.

The near silence from the UK press & media, BBC included, is extremely telling. One thing is for sure, Farage is starting to get a bit nervous as his finances & Russian contacts start to catch up with him & he tries to do a Trump & distract, distract, distract...

I asked about getting a covid vaccine booster today. Not eligible for the NHS any more, their restrictions are too tight even though they throw £Millions worth away each year. Private cost? £110. Cases going up rapidly. Make it make sense: www.england.nhs.uk/2025/10/nhs-...

Two days left to maximise the petition numbers folks. Mention it to anyone you can. It’s really important we send the message loud & clear that we’ve had enough of the REFORM propaganda-fest & want to hear regularly from ALL our parties. Sign sign sign petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

Excellent article that addresses the concerns of the people claiming asylum & gives them a voice, one that is currently drowned out by Farage, the UK press & media & as the author notes, the increasingly hard line taken by Labour, shamefully. Over to you Starmer & Cooper, you are not helping.
I’ve been frustrated to see so much of the ongoing story about asylum seekers and the protests against them covered without hearing from those seeking asylum and now being met with hostility and hatred

I set out to speak to those directly affected to find out about the impact this is having 👇

What makes Labour's behaviour really bizarre is that they have decided to alienate those supporters that decided to carry on supporting them after Corbyn left, which is the majority & the people that voted them in. It is an extraordinary display of self harm apart from anything else.
This summarises my own experience so well. I was an active member under Corbyn and intended initially to be the same when Starmer took over. That didn’t last as the party decided to court Reform voters by throwing minorities and its leftists under the bus. Why would I stay if I didn’t feel welcome?
The Home Secretary, supported by Starmer, have apparently decided that Labour voters who loathe Reform are to be ignored whilst Reform voters who loathe Labour are to be courted. That is the only explanation I can find for their latest actions & like many Labour voters, they have dumped me.

Brexit is crap, unpopular & crap, yet the people of Thurrock apparently think it is because it somehow wasn't done right & I suppose Blue Labour will try & pander to them rather than attend to the majority of people wanting to rejoin. I'm sick of it. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

A lot more MPs expected. Most overwhelmingly positive about the concept of the petition (unexpected)

It was discussed that rejoining EU would boost the economy, increase global influence, improve

The crapness of Brexit yet again.

How long before the Labour government take action? After all, some 80%+ of Labour supporters want to ditch Brexit, let alone the rest of the UK & our finances are a mess as the cuts to the incomes of disabled people grimly shows.

This is not a surprise. Trump & Musk are loathed across Europe & in much of the rest of the world too.
Donald Trump continues to be more unpopular with Reform UK voters than before his argument with Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House
