NEWS: C20 has supported an application to list the majestic Norwich Sports Village (1987-88), the only concrete shell structures in the UK designed by pioneering Swiss engineer Heinz Isler, utlising his innovative ‘inverted membrane’ and ‘plumped pillow’ method.

walking the woods at night is fun coz there's no one around, the animals are either bedding down or waking up, and you get to fanny about with a torch

it’s sort of hard now to explain how *miraculous* the sample-based DI records sounded in the early 90s. nobody except maybe the young gods really figured out how to use the technology to its fullest in a band context — but DI were melodic and generous. they made pop music.

This was a really wonderful installation to be part of in 2021. There’s a Perú update coming. If you contributed to 'if trees were lone women what would they sound like' in its Scottish iteration & haven’t seen an email from Clare, check your spam or get in touch if she’s accidentally missed you. 🔊

I woke up today to some really lovely emails from women from around the world excited about working with other women somewhere else in the world. All hail the non elitist creative producers who back ideas and risk as opposed to perfectly curated accounts, headshots, names, buzz words, on trend etc

Hey fellow contributrixes to Clare's 'if trees were lone women what would they sound like' installation, there's a fabulous opportunity for the work to be reimagined/restaged with Peruvian women/nb/gender-expansive artists also collaborating at the end of November. Check your messages!

I've been binge watching an Argentinian comedy drama where the archetypal guy next door, that she's clearly going to get together eventually with, is such a mix of Elliot Gould and Chris O'Dowd despite speaking in Spanish, that I feel they must have specified that exact mix in the casting call.

"Few mainstream acts have emerged from the seven-country strip that bridges North and South America—and even less so from the underground, though a scrappy new generation of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk bands is weaving a web of mutual aid and bummer tunes that could change that."
