Up in the rafters but with no objection - St. Vincent at the Proms was perfection. Masterful orchestral arrangements by Rachel Eckroth that genuinely sounded like they came from a minimalist composition. A brilliant and emotional collaboration between orchestral and amplified sound.

Not only a fiercely competent Sinologist (though he would never admit that), but also the best and most loving dad. The grief is as a shoreless sea.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we, the family of Andrew West, confirm his peaceful passing on 10th July 2025. The BabelStone legacy will be continued by colleagues and friends.

Got the dates mixed up for my own event and panicked thinking the abstract deadline was 13th July. It is in fact 31st July - ample time to get your abstracts in ! 😌

ok i'll admit that i went into Kpop Demon Hunters wanting to be a hater but it only took about 15 minutes and an Exo reference to get me fully invested. still, 7/10 recommend
