LRP: I found out about asexuality while I was teaching a class, and almost burst into tears because, surprise! There was nothing wrong with me actually!
I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be to experience queer attraction and not know there's a word for it, and that you're not alone.

When I was younger I didn’t know trans men existed. I didn’t know it was an option, and I felt alone and hopeless that I would never have a body that I felt comfortable in.
Hiding the existence of gay and trans people doesn’t make kids straight or cis, it just makes gay and trans kids miserable
