Yes, pigeons!!! Here are some I drew with my toddler as a collaborative project (added challenge is using random pens/pencils that are in toddler’s art supplies)

The fact that nothing is being done about this — and that people keep blithely hanging out on that site as though its owner and a key part of its official architecture aren’t actively enabling disgusting criminal abuse at scale — is making me lose my mind
Every piece of reporting I've seen on this is drastically understating the scale. These are from Grok's replies within a single minute. Time-to-reply is degrading because it has such a backlog of NCII/CSAM requests to fulfill. Conservatively I estimate it is producing more than 5000 of these per day

As if having cancer or an immune deficiency as a kid isn’t bad enough, those patients also can’t receive vaccines.

They rely on herd immunity, others doing the right thing.

It’s the same with infants who are too young to be vaccinated but are also at increased risk of morbidity and mortality.

The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.
I'm so tired of measles.

I'm also tired of people using needle shots on stories like this.

Show what measles looks like.

🧵 Myth Busting Monday: “Vitamin supplements can help your immune system fight off viruses and bacteria.”
The idea that taking vitamin supplements can “boost” your immune system and help you fight infections has been around for decades. It feels intuitive but the science is far more nuanced.

I care for children in the hospital on inpatient & consult services.

Most weeks there are at least a few kids admitted with vaccine preventable diseases.

Often in children who can’t get vaccinated themselves.

15 years in pediatrics and I’ve never seen a single one admitted with vaccine injury.
