Today I worked for 16h straight. Why? For science. I am trying to understand how heart failure promotes #AFib. Sometimes this is best done with single atrial cells, in a dish (here with a calcium-sensitive fluo dye). Doing this right takes time. NIH used to fund this type of science. Now? Who knows.
