This group is trying to prevent a church from building supportive housing for elderly disabled homeless residents.

People this heartless should not be taken seriously at any level.
Here is the website NIMBYs have set up to oppose a Permanent Support Housing project in Kirkwood. They would rather people sleep in the freezing temperatures outside than see this development be built on church property.

The Georgia Public Service Commission is the worst in the nation, and I can prove it. I've been showing this photo for a while. It depicts Ga Power lawyers with BUSINESS BEFORE THE COMMISSION donating money to commissioners for favorable decisions. Which they get. 100% of the time.

I'm cleaning up my camera roll, and I realize I have a lot of pictures of pavings, an obsession of mine. I will add them to this ongoing thread until I run out of them, I get bored or I forget.

I will try to give some basic info for each of them and rate it.

Meanwhile Atlanta's gonna finish drafting its 5 year development plan without upzoning a single MARTA station.
I can’t believe it - after years of advocacy, exclusionary zoning has ended in Cambridge.

We just passed the single most comprehensive rezoning in the US—legalizing multifamily housing up to 6 stories citywide in a Paris style

Here’s the details 🧵

Atlanta's recent CDP and Zoning 2.0 processes are such clear examples of governing from a place of fear rather than vision.

I'm gonna attempt a 🧵 focusing on housing aspects of the plans.
"Local government isn’t stuck because the challenges are impossible. It’s stuck because the fear of backlash has replaced the urgency to govern."

Well said.
