Learning was scant in the accord - but there were FOUR references to professional staff in 409 pages. And most of that was in a half page section discussing why hiring professional staff gets in the way of hiring academics :/ #ascilite2024

Love this. As @elainehuber.bsky.social said, the pushback can be awful, but it has to be done. And keep going after procurement - ask tough questions about configurations, roles and permissions, contracts, hosting, and more. #ascilite2024
