I've spent the afternoon plotting out my next writing project - a messy process in my case. I try to be organised but I inevitably end up scribbling on loose pieces of paper.

Kingussie, 1901: Nell lives a clockwork life of a TB sanatorium nurse. Then a patient's suicide, eerily similar to Nell's friend’s death in Switzerland, turns out to be murder. When secrets are laid open and no one can be trusted, Nell needs to confront her past for answers. #scotwriterpitch2025
