"Appeared"

It's an industrial-scale dump site that has been building for months. One which locals have reported convoys of lorries visiting.

And only now the agencies are on the case.
🚨 SHOCKING 🚨

A HUGE illegal waste dump has appeared between the A34 and River Cherwell, linked to organised crime.

Every rainfall risks toxins washing into the river.

We’re calling on the Environment Agency & Cherwell Council to act NOW.

Our rivers cannot wait. 👇👇

This is disgusting in all regards. The crime, the time and the silence. As soon as these crimes have been committed and announcing info won’t risk an investigation, then this should be communicated nationally as fast as possible.

New GB Red List for vascular plants from @bsbibotany.bsky.social @ukceh.bsky.social is comprehensive revision of 2005 list.

Plants are good indicators of the pressures on all our wildlife - things are not getting better.

Another year I’ve not seen Hen harriers in the #YorkshireDales in breeding season. Dales habitat looks like successful Bowland habitat though.
No records ever in May & June. July records likely “brood managed” birds 2021.

Orange dots on zero are all the dates without HH.

Apparently I will only be informed of the apocalypse one minute after it happens, from the other side of oblivion. My phone wailed at 3:01.
Missed it, I was in the shower 🤣 When the apocalypse arrives I will no doubt be ill prepared 🙄🙂
