Sometimes I gotta remember that just getting up, having some coffee and hammering out a newsletter ain't that hard after all:

Anyway, my latest from the Memo:

Sullivan's safe space, sales tax dumped and PFD panic
A time crunch or a convenient excuse? A fix for a flailing bill. And is the PFD really going away?

I have been wondering this same thing about both Bondi and Noem. What led to their depraved behaviors? How did they lose their souls? What do they think about at night when they are alone with their thoughts?

Alaska signed on to an amicus brief for Trump v Barbara on Jan. 27, 2026 -- this case challenges birthright citizenship. Birthright citizenship has benefitted Alaska in profound ways. The 14th amendment is clear. It is humiliating that we have signed on. #akleg

How are we doing on snowfall this season in the Contiguous U.S. through January? Well, it's the lowest combined total thru Jan since 1943-44. While places in the South and East that average 5" to 20" have done pretty well, most everyplace out West (MUCH higher averages), have had little to no snow.
