oh huh social shunning is the original explicit statement of purpose prior to the repo's existence. interesting. so it seems like the neutral "raise awareness" framing is just a flat out lie. the purpose of the list is to exert social pressure on the maintainers / contributors of the listed projects

Woke up at 5am again - I can't get a handle on my sleep schedule it seems. Either I go to bed too late and wake up too late or I go to bed early and wake up early. I can't ever seem to find that sweet spot of going to bed at a decent hour and waking up at a decent hour.

My ancient phone (bought in 2019) finally ceased working so I spent this morning getting a new phone and coming to terms with how utterly enshittified Android has become. Going from Android 8 (yes... :P) to 15 is like, urgh.
I'm thinking I need to root this thing and get Lineage or something else

i had a dream last night that my PDS was lost because it was running on a disposable vape that had a battery malfunction and caught fire. because the vape hardware was weak backups were disabled so i lost my data.
note that it was also a vape i was using, so it was a dual purpose vape.

Well, looks like in 12 days I'll be officially unemployed, after 10 years working at a brilliant place with brilliant co-workers. Kind of sucks because getting a 100% remote job that doesn't spy on you every minute of a workday seems like a long shot, and after nearly 15 years of not doing a 9-5...
