I was happy to be a panelist on David G. Embrick's session:
Current Issues of Anti-DEI Rhetoric in the United States with Johnny Williams, Marlese Durr, and Kasey Henricks. We had an inspiring conversation about building #solidarity, publishing in these times, and #academicfreedom

Exciting news! My book is now available on Audible! After receiving multiple requests from readers, I advocated for an audio version to ensure the book would be accessible to more people. Thanks to The University of Georgia Press. #racism #equity #politics #books

It was a joy to present at The Johns Hopkins University #GenderAndWork Initiative: Advancing the #Allyship Agenda conference. Spaces like these are essential—not just for learning and connection, but for grappling honestly with the complexities and critiques of “allyship.”

This video features my book at the end along with several other important analyses of white supremacy. Never liked how Goldilocks just ran away with no expectation to clean up the mess she left behind. 😂

My co-authored article is out in Race Ethnicity and Education! This study extends my 2007 conceptualization of "emotional segregation" to #highereducation and examines everyday #racism in #academia. This includes #bullying by those who identity as antiracist.

What resonated with me most about the #nationaldayofaction teach-ins and sessions was that academics need to define their work as labor and “create the relational spaces that capitalism has denied us” (Barbara Madeloni). #highered
