omg, this story is so beautiful and haunting...it takes the idea of we all have a story to tell...to a mysterious annnnd dark place. "Tell me, girl, what are stories? What are they made of?” (Highly recommend this classic!!) 💖
Maybe you, like the protagonist of Megan Chee's "Incense", have a story you no longer need. If so, the storyteller can do something with that story, though you may not like the results.

ok but this story "Bog Eye" by @rsljnr.bsky.social is a weird masterpiece. It's chaos and poetry and really strange mutant philosophy and I just love it. I hope more people read this

What a mysterious, tense, and powerful piece! Loved it 💚 The lines "I used to lay in my bed covered in goosebumps, thinking of the thread that would attach the toe of my entombed corpse to a bell on the surface. Nightmares plagued me; bells ringing, screaming and tolling" & the ending..so, so good!!
