Our advocacy director @seth-stern.bsky.social told @npr.org it should’ve taken “five minutes of legal research” for an MS judge to realize it’s unconstitutional to order newspapers to delete editorials.

Either the judge didn’t put in the five minutes or she didn't care.

A federal judge issued an emergency order early Saturday prohibiting Elon Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service from accessing personal and financial data on millions of Americans kept at the Treasury Department, noting the possibility for irreparable harm.
