“What do most people say?”
- C. Walken
This appears to be a non-veiled reference to exterminating the entire Latino population of the United States. Folks this is the essence of fully realized Nazi final solution politics and government. We are not (to use the cliché) in "1933" with this. Not even close.
The entire Latino population in the U.S. is 65 million. She means all of us.

Passover arrives Saturday night. Chag Sameach! Together we will tell the story of our deliverance while reflecting inevitably on our duties in a broken world. I wrote this piece in 2018 on why this holiday feels so perpetually relevant. I hope it resonates. medium.com/@AndyTarsy/f...

One of the best parts of our work at @thejcpa.bsky.social is partnering with local JCRCS, federations, & other communal groups.

Particularly grateful for the leadership of the Boston JCRC and Ann Arbor Federation in standing for democracy & civil liberties.

Note to Hegseth. This is what you say:

"I made a mistake. It was a serious error. I am responsible for my actions. I apologize to the American people. This will not happen again."

I would love for you to resign but that's not my point. The above is what you say.

Would be awesome if they would also invoke the state secrets privilege around....state secrets. No?
JUST IN: The Trump administration is invoking the state secrets privilege to refuse Judge Boasberg more details about the timing of flights carrying people deported under the Alien Enemies act.

Rubio, Noem and Bondi have combined to back the invocation. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Today in 1 second I "created" this powerful short story by asking ChatGPT to write a fairy tale using all the words President Trump recently banned federal agencies from using. This is 100% unedited ChatGPT. Even the robots get it.

So is bluesky still on? How are people getting to hear and see what they don't follow? Do the buttons work for you? How are folks feeling about being able to get their messages out and find engagement? I don't love the algos but I don't quite understand this stuff without them unless we are famous.

Scott Kirsner's final @bostonglobe.com column is a potent read-out of how dire things are. "I worry that our innovation economy, starved of fuel and oxygen for four years, is going to be like a car that will coast for a while before settling to a stop." www.bostonglobe.com/2025/03/04/b...
He started covering Boston’s innovation scene just before the dot-com bust. 25 years later, he’s more worried than ever. - The Boston Globe
In his last column, Scott Kirsner looks back on a quarter-century of reporting on Boston startups, funding, and tech leaders — and considers what the changing times mean for the future.
