Labour have just put the Tories in power in Angus Council.

Your most recent reminder that, if you want to keep the Tories out, the Scottish Labour party cannot be trusted with your vote.

This alone should be reason not to vote Labour next year. Their Thatcherite legacy lives on in PFI schemes that continue to rob the public purse and public sector workers to this day, due to cost the Scottish taxpayer around £1.1bn this year with £13bn still to be paid.

Strange how there's no magic money tree for Scotland or Wales but a bottomless pit of money for England.
Why is the Labour government considering nationalising British Steel's Scunthorpe plant owned by Chinese owner Jingye.

When that option wasn't open to either Grangemouth or Port Talbot, both equally important to the Scottish and Welsh economies.

Whoever could have foreseen that the corporatisation and monopolisation of the free press would be a terrible idea.
Gannett - which owns Newsquest, publisher of The Herald, Glasgow Times, and heaps of Scottish locals - has opted to comply in advance with Trump’s executive orders by wiping all reference to equality and diversity from its website.
Gannett will stop publishing diversity information, citing Trump’s executive order
The company also removed mentions of "diversity" from its corporate site.

You do not improve employment prospects by increasing poverty.

Make sure your voice is heard - tell your MP - NO to cuts.

Write to your MP:
Making people poorer will do nothing but harm.

Jeez. A clip has emerged of Donald Trump in the Oval Office discussing how people made money in the recent market fluctuations as a result of his tariffs.

"He made two-and-a-half billion today, and he made nine hundred million, that's not bad!"

I’m delighted to see that the SNP government has delivered over 36,000 baby boxes across NHS Grampian since they were introduced in 2017.

In total, 335,775 boxes have now been distributed to parents across Scotland since the start of the project.

Next year we'll go further and scrap the two child cap, taking even more children out of poverty.

Christina McKelvie saw the very best in people, and growing up she also saw firsthand the injustice faced by her family and her community.

Her experiences made her determined to address the many injustices facing society.

Scotland’s delivering more homes per head than anywhere else in the UK.

Since 2007, we’ve delivered 136,705 affordable homes - 97,099 for councils and housing associations.

We’re focused on what matters to you: secure homes, strong communities, and a fairer Scotland.

Christina was the most genuine, caring and empathetic person I will ever meet.

Anyone who worked for her as she supported constituents, @snp.org and fought for independence will know how life-changing the experience was.

My thoughts are with her family.

Thank you for everything, boss.
