Thank you Green Latinos and Earthjustice for putting forward a solution that will *actually* reduce congestion on I-270, while supporting community health and sustainability! The CDOT proposal to widen the highway would just do the opposite. coloradosun.com/2025/11/21/i...
How to fix I-270: Designers offer plan with toll lanes, no widening and a boost to mass transit
All-toll lanes, green berms to absorb pollution, and greatly increased mass transit could be an alternative to widening I-270 through Adams County.

Good thread, good article.
There’s a widespread myth that Americans hate traffic cameras. It’s simply not true.

On the contrary, researchers have consistently found that Americans broadly support using automatic enforcement to curb crashes. And for good reason: It works.

Me, in Bloomberg 🧵
Automated Traffic Enforcement Is More Popular Than You Think
Cameras that ticket drivers who run red lights and speed are effective and widely popular with city residents. So why are they banned in so many places?

My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

(15 in Manhattan btw)
There is no possible justification for limiting e-bikes to 15mph but not cars.
