This.
Confiscating jewellery from survivors of a war zone makes you look like a fucking Nazi. And the obscene thing is, that is the intention. It's there to look appropriately harsh. Indecent. Filthy. A moral stain. And no-one of good character would have ever proposed such a thing in the first place.

My current YouTube feed. Interesting times, people. #Linux

Interesting thing that happened today. My 93 yr old mother-in-law didn't know that Alan Partridge was actually a TV character.

After my explanation, she said "I thought he was a bit odd".

My flat white this morning. Just thought I'd post it to remind myself that normal life does still go on, and that we can enjoy the simple things in life.

Not a fan of Wes Streeting, but he's bang on the money here.

If you're not calling out blatant racism, you're supporting it.
Well said, Wes! 👏 👏 👏

Not a peep from the Putin Puppet Farage today over his MP’s divisive and racist rhetoric. Not fit to govern.

Fuck me, Rovers. After a dreadful start we were flying, then 4 loses and 16 goals against. WTF is going on? 🤬
October 25, 2025 at 4:26 PM
I like Rory Stewart, but thought he was dreadful tonight on #newsnight he seemed out of touch about Andrew & the Epstein issue. Also rude & uninterested when others were talking. At one point I even thought he was asleep.
I despise Trump as much as the next man, but Andrew & Epstein IS a big issue.

Manhunter is on BBC2. One of those films, if it's on, I have to watch it. #Manhunter

You would have to wipe out every Linux distro, then start killing off all the Macs, before I'd ever buy a Windows PC again.

My PC is mine. I built it. I control what software runs on it.

#NoToAI
This is the future of Windows. Microsoft wants to rewrite Windows to turn computers into AI PCs that you talk to. It's now bringing AI features to all Windows 11 PCs today, in a bid to convince you to talk to your PC and let AI control it. Full details 👇 www.theverge.com/news/799768/...

Tragic what's happened in Manchester today. Awful for all those involved.

Well done the #RedRoses. A great first half killed off the game, giving Canada way too much to do.

Enjoy the hangover tomorrow, girls.

Nathan Gill is no fringe politician.

He was the leader of the Reform Party and before that UKIP in Wales.

A Brexit Party MEP.

A friend and ally of Nigel Farage, who in 2016 called him:

"terrific," and "as honest as the day is long."

This is a MASSIVE story

"He might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from this now"

That is perfect. And bang on the money to what has happened here.
Jimmy Kimmel addressed ABC suspending his show on Tuesday night, saying that Trump "did his best to cancel me" but that "backfired bigly" and "forced millions to watch" his show instead, adding: "He might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from this now" www.axios.com/2025/09/24/j...
Kimmel returns with monologue defending free speech: "We have to stand up"
"Our government cannot be allowed to control what we do and do not say on television," Kimmel said.

Just flicked to CNN and Trump is talking at the Kirk service and he's babbling about crime in Washington.

Now onto pronouns and Kimmel.

WTF is wrong with him?

I was always a big defender of the BBC, but it's become difficult since Brexit, and pretty much impossible after the last few years. Something is rotten at the BBC.
This is a disgrace they need to fire the person at the BBC who is charge of the News, they are clearly biased.

Isn't it great that the richest man in the world is using his money, power & influence to heal the world's problems...

FFS! 🤬
This must be a watershed moment. The government's continued use of X is no longer simply negligent. It is an act of conscious assistance to violent extremism.
The common sense meaning should make this Elon Musk's "rivers of blood" moment

Though I think he goes further than Enoch Powell in a couple of important ways

Watching CNN & it's like a head of state had been killed. Now I disagree 100% with the murder of Kirk, but this reaction doesn't seem normal.
We didn't see an outpouring of anger & grief like this for any of the 100s of school kids gunned down. The reaction to this is purely political.

Trump using his statement not to call for calm, but to throw more fuel on the fire.
Before knowing any facts about the gunman, he's just waged war on the left.

Good luck, America.

First time watching #PMQs for a few months. Wow. Badenoch wiped the floor with Starmer today. I never thought I'd say that.

Labour, read the room about Mandelson. If deals were made with Epstein AFTER his crimes were known, he has to go.
