The UK’s culture sector needs financial, political and public support to survive. Funding is not a ‘favour’. It is an investment in imagination, in our shared experience – and in inspiration and joy

A fantastic album it is too.

But it clearly hasn't been 50 years

Has it??

"Covid infection led to 2.24 extra cases of myocarditis or pericarditis per 100,000 under-18s in the six months after diagnosis, researchers estimated. That compared with 0.85 additional cases for children during the six months after receiving initial shots of the BioNTech/Pfizer Covid vaccine."

On the tour for this album, we put the band on for a gig at Leicester University in Nov 82. It lasted three tracks until they did Nazi Punks Fuck Off and the skinheads in the crowd jumped the stage and got into a fight with the band. End of gig, but an unforgettable night!

The other hero of Trafalgar. Quite the story.
Spare some love today for Collingwood. The other Admiral at Trafalgar.

Proud northerner. Hater of flogging. Legit brilliant commander and Nelson's trusted right hand. First into battle on Royal Sovereign. Took charge after Nelson was sniped and saved the British Fleet.

Here's HIS Trafalgar... /1 🧵

For those with an interest in the future for Northern Ireland, this is worth to listen to. When you hear the DUP jumping up to say "Paisley doesn't speak for us" you know he's saying something. Just as his father ended up in an unlikely place....

Incredible.

Important stuff if you're born between 1970 and 1990. Also, for those of us born before 1970, and have not had measles, mumps or rubella (german measles) or their vaccines, you can ask your GP surgery for the MMR vaccine.
If you were born between 1970-1990 you may not have full MMR protection, even if you had parents who took you for all your jabs. The NHS will give you a free booster. With cases surging, this is a great way to protect yourself & your community. I’m getting mine tomorrow www.nhs.uk/vaccinations...
