AFAIK it's worse than that, recent legislation in some US States and the UK means they could actually be sued for NOT doing this. So yeah it's a pain in the ass but we should be getting mad at the legislators that have demanded these changes, not the companies forced to comply

One of my good friends (not on bsky) has had to pay for a very expensive cancer treatment for their dog. Bubbles is their emotional support animal (my friend has not had an easy life)!
