I just finished up a call with someone who had vibe-coded an error into a revenue-generating application that cost the company 6 figures in (fortunately recoverable) lost revenue. It's recoverable because two developers with a combined 40 years of experience managed to unwind the problem.

Some guy tried to rob a local store while brandishing an old wooden door. Just completely unhinged.

Bluesky has made it folks. People are now dunking on PHP with ignorant and outdated takes for no apparent reason.
13 years later and folks still recommend PHP to people 🤦

¡Bienvinedos!

The time of New Year's resolutions is almost upon us.
In a world of lazy AI platitudes, practice writing unhinged messages to friends so they know it's 100% you. Don't fall victim to an eggshell white and grey existence.

Start in Spanish. End in Klingon. Keep it spicy.

I genuinely believe most companies would be better in the long-term if they deliberately avoid adding any GenAI features at all. Don't talk about it. Don't add it. Just keep making the product good for your customers in the normal non-GenAI way. Ignore your competitors and stay the course.

TIL that "hospital" in Swedish is "sjukhus" (sick-house).

Don't try to pronounce it though. However you think it's pronounced I guarantee you it's wrong.

Almost every Youtube ad I am served now is weird extremely low quality slop. Text only, for obscure local businesses, with no sound except a terrible AI generated orchestral backing track which bears no apparent stylistic relevance to the content being advertised, and is musically just awful.
