SHUT THE GOVERNMENT DOWN!

Do not fund the government until a full investigation is performed for Renee Good and Alex Pretti. The agents responsible for their execution must be removed from duty and put on trial.

The American people demand accountability and an end to ICE & DHS brutality!!!

Stop threatening and PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. How have none of these cases resulted in real contempt charges?

@democrats.org I better see EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT voting against DHS funding. And then y'all better get out on the streets with the rest of America because it's time to stop writing "strongly worded letters" and DO SOMETHING. Stop letting your constituents die while you wring your hands.

All of this coming to light while conservative justices are considering gutting the Voter's Rights Act because racism doesn't exist anymore. WTF people.

I honestly don't know. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, I guess. Wondering when agents will come a-knockin'. Prepping for shortages. Talking about the future as if all is well, while knowing there's no way to predict what comes next.

It was definitely a BS move, but honestly I'm kinda cool with it - bc I want to see Stephen unleashed. The Colbert Report was a scathing masterpiece, and I'd be willing to bet that we haven't seen the last of Stephen. Now he can take the gloves off.

Today in history, 1944: Jackie Robinson, then a lieutenant in the Army, refuses to move to the back of a bus at Ft. Hood, Texas, citing an Army regulation prohibiting discrimination on vehicles operating on Army posts. The driver backed down, but Robinson was court-martialed. /1

I've been protesting, calling/writing my reps, donating to orgs leading the fight for months, while trying to keep my job so I can care for my 80-year-old mom with dementia, keep my kid in college, etc. The comments here make me want to move to a deserted island and watch the world burn.

Yes! We just got back to AZ from Salem, MA and walking around the city with all the pride flags and ally banners made us feel like we were in safe welcoming territory and among our own.

Yep.
If it took 8 days to build a massive concentration camp in Florida then it means they could build and house the homeless at any point but choose not to

If it has to be secret, chances are it's because you're violating someone's rights.
As weโ€™ve reported before, ICE facilities are rife with human rights violations. Now, the Department of Homeland Security is trying to hide them, formally requiring members of Congress and their staff to give seven daysโ€™ notice before visiting immigration detention centers.

BREAKING: In a unanimous decision, a federal court of appeals has ruled that Louisiana's law requiring the Ten Commandments to be displayed in all public school classrooms is unconstitutional.

Weโ€™ll keep saying it: Public schools are not Sunday schools.
