Track & Field Commentary on The Final Leg and CitiusMag
Dylan Beard moves to no.11 all-time indoors and only 3 men in the last 15-years have run faster than his 7.38 (Grand H., Terrence T., David O.)

But more importantly in 2025, he keeps on WINNING
1/11 Clemson:✅
1/25 Astana:✅
1/31 Clemson: SF✅(DNS F)
2/8 Millrose:✅
2/22 USAs:👀
This is HIS HOUSE 😤

Dylan Beard defends his Millrose title in the 60m hurdles, this time in a lifetime best, world lead, and facility record of 7.38.

Honestly, it's going to be very hard to stop Jacious' path to success in 2025. She's running as if she never even got injured last year!
First stop might just be the World indoor podium 👀
Here, healthy, and THRIVING 💁‍♀️

Jacious Sears stays hot to keep her strong 2025 indoor season going, taking the win in the 60 meter dash at the Millrose Games by a decisive margin in a new lifetime best of 7.02, the fastest time in the world this year.

Lisa Raye runs 7.13 for a High School record in the 60m, and she is followed close behind by Melanie Doggett who is only THIRTEEN YEARS OLD with a 7.17! 🤯

A quick look at head-to-head records for Grand Slam Track's short sprint group of Fred, Kenny, Oblique, and Zharnel

*note heats/semis don’t count as a loss unless an athlete fails to advance to the next round*

Glad we get to see Oblique not only race a bit more in 2025, but also run the 200m
December 19, 2024 at 11:05 PM
Its crazy to think that a decade ago Zharnel was in the 2015 World Championship 200m final. Now entering 2025, he's still only 29 years old and better than ever!

Love that he's still competing, getting faster, and reinventing himself year after year. Will be dope to see him in GST next year 💯

Triple Jumping 16m may not seem that far today, but he set the WR on 5 occasions between 1950-1956

Had no idea that Makarawu ran in On spikes in Paris👀

He has a PB of 19.93 from back in April, but dropped times of 20.07, 20.16 and 20.10 throughout the rounds in Paris.

Zimbabwe🇿🇼 is definitely coming, and On is low key building up a sprint squad
✍🏻 Kentucky's Tapiwanashe "Carlie" Makarawu has signed an NIL deal with On.

Makarawu is coming off a summer in which he competed at his first Olympics and reached the 200m final, where he finished sixth. He is the Zimbabwe 200m record holder with a PB of 19.93.

19.79: J. Dadzie🇬🇭
19.83: J. Fahnbulleh🇱🇷
19.93: T. Makarawu🇿🇼
19.93: C. Traore🇨🇮
19.95: M. Charamba🇿🇼
19.99: S. Maswanganyi🇿🇦
19.99: B. Richardson🇿🇦

Random women's 100mH stat:

12.30 or faster has been run 27 times in history
5 times: Yordanka Donkova
5 times: Keni Harrison
4 times: Ackera Nugent
3 times: Tobi Amusan
3 times: Ludmila Engquist

Ackera Nugent's career is just getting started and she's already one of the most consistent 100mH ever

Letsile Tebogo in 2024:
300m: 30.69 World Record

400m: 44.29 PB - Top-15 in the world
4x400: 43.04 split - 2nd fastest 4x4 split in history

A changed and mature Letsile in 2025 will be a dangerous athlete to line up against🔥
🇧🇼 Letsile Tebogo dedicates his World Athletics Track Athlete of The Year Award to his people in Botswana.

Daryll has been winning Olmypic and World medals since 2016 but is low key just getting started 💪🏾

Considering her consistency at both 100 and 200, don't be surprised if she wins a couple of the SLAMs in the short sprint group 👀
