This is going to sound so silly and simplistic, but seeing the genuine peace in the face of each monk, the way people were brought to tears by their clarity…

2025 was like living a jump scare. I knew things would change, but to this extent?
Years of work (and subsequently shallow friendships) dissolved by March. I wasn’t even up off the ground before my next “role” started. Sudden caretaker.
