Tired of hearing that ICE isn't trained for what they're doing. Training doesn't matter, it hasn't fixed the police it's not going to fix anything else. These institutions are designed to function the way they do. Stop pretending it's fixable.

There's a post over on Twitter that I've been laughing to myself about. Some right-wing guy is celebrating that a school took down "All-Gender" bathroom signs and replaced them with "Single Occupancy Restroom" signs. And like... it's the same thing, man. You're celebrating a pointless relabeling.

Teachers work so hard with so little support in a flat out adversarial system. I had some incredible teachers when I was young. People who taught me the kind of person I wanted to be. Be thankful for teachers, especially the ones struggling to educate kids in overcrowded, underfunded schools.
