LRP: I wasn’t able to do a lot of things until my oldest was able to babysit their younger brother. Spaces where kids weren’t allowed were spaces I couldn’t go. I didn’t build a community of real-life friends until relatively recently, because my kids prevented me from socializing in most spaces.

That's the thing, right, is that as a data analysis tool machine learning could be useful as fuck. "here's 365 days of data on how my sheep use the land, tell me how to set up fencing to mimic their preferred seasonal use"
Cancer researcher here. We routinely use AI methods for data analysis. They're extremely useful, and much more efficient than LLMs in use of resources, but they won't "cure cancer" next year, that's not a thing.
LLMs like ChatGPT have little or nothing to contribute to healthcare.
