The House has passed HB 69 on a vote of 24-16 to increase the BSA by $1,000 per student. The bill now moves to the Senate. Thanks to House members for taking this step to support Alaska students and ensure our schools have the resources they need. #akleg

Thinking of SE salmon hatcheries and the economic impact if Alaska Board of Fish mandates they cut 25% chum/link production. I know DIPAC programs for Chinook, coho, and sockeye, not to mention education outreach, will be devastated. Public comment due by Jan 14 to AK BoF
