2 dachshunds on the sofa! Pippin is just a week over 4 months old and he's almost as big as 7 year old Willow despite being a miniature. He just mastered jumping up on the back of the sofa. Typically, he's trying to annoy Willow but I snapped this picture during a peaceful moment. Happy Saturday!

Pippin just turned 4 months old. The first picture is my puppy at one month and the second was taken recently. This little guy has really grown! He's still all puppy; he just makes bigger messes (see picture after he got hold of an old magazine).

Pippin is 11 weeks old today! This is what I see when I check out his crate each morning. But once he's awake, all hell breaks loose.

The Republicans are apparently discussing creating their own version of the Nobel Peace Prize so that they can award it to their "peace loving" fearless leader. Watching the discussion on TV made me gag. If they want to give Trump a consolation prize, don't pretend it has anything to do with peace.

It's struck me that even if the Dems can gain control of the House, the Senate & eventually, the WH, the lack of respect for the rule of law, the beliefs, the wealth distinctions & hostility of the GOP won't disappear. I often wonder if splitting the US into 2 countries is the best solution.
