I guess the lure of leftover scrambled eggs was too much for Pippin. In his typical gutsy way, he climbed onto the coffee table and helped himself to the remnants of my breakfast. Hope everybody's day is more peaceful than mine. Happy Tuesday!

When your puppy is bored with his toys and is desperately looking for something new to play with.

We wanted a distraction and got that plus some. Meet Pippin, our new 9 week old mini dachshund. He's intent on driving our 7 yr old doxie crazy, biting anything he can sink his teeth into, throwing puppy temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way, and ensuring I am sleep deprived. But so adorable!

It's been pouring here for days. Willow did not care for her new rain poncho, possibly because it was a little large on her. The manufacturers of dog clothes need a special size for mini dachshunds.
