On Sunday 1 February people came to Rodborough Fields from all over Stroud to mark the Celtic festival of Imbolc and to join in the blessing of the river Frome.

On February 1st 2026, a group of around 80 people gathered on Rodborough Fields to celebrate imbolc - the first signs of Spring - and to bless the river.
