Montefiore management calling @nynurses.bsky.social's demands "reckless and dangerous" is absurd. What's actually reckless and dangerous is—

• Refusing to provide safe-staffing ratios
• Spending tens of millions on strikebreaker staff
• Relying on AI instead of actual humans to provide care

Win: @ufw.bsky.social's workers at Wafler Farms will get the $19.39/hr they bargained for.

That's 21% more than the $16 fed min for H–2A migrant workers in NY.

UFW is also seeking back pay at the union rate, which should have applied since April.

Thanks @amirkhafagy.bsky.social for covering this.

This is amazing! Winning the right to unionize is the right of ALL WORKERS! I am so proud to have worked in the fields as a child, even though we didn't have rights, we stood w/each other, took care of each other. This proves it! Se se puede ❤️‍🔥✊
“Union contracts are not subject to this unilateral federal wage cut, so the workers at Wafler farm will now make thousands of dollars more each year than they would have without a UFW contract.“
