the thing that always baffles me about when ppl start quibbling over age-of-consent or whatever is that as a 41 year old most 25 year old's look like teenagers to me. so even that seems gross.

15-year-olds aren’t “barely legal.” There is no such thing as “underage women” they’re fucking CHILDREN.

Two things 1) my mother is a councillor (conservative 😭) and has experienced no abuse and 2) how does that compare to the abuse trans people suffer from your government and the press and society at large given the former has enabled i.
The level of abuse and harassment being directed towards councillors across the political spectrum is completely unacceptable and more often than not goes unchecked. (1/2)

It just dawned on me. This means trans kids will have no support in schools. The Labour government brought in Section 28 2.0 so school staff can't be there to support trans kids. Now they are cutting off contact with the outside world. So for the duration of school trans kids are alone. Truly sick.
