Atheist in WI. Neither liberal nor conservative. I believe if they're not harming others, endangering others or imposing their will on others, leave them alone. Resisting the U.S. regime at all costs. The only power they have is that which we give them.

We’ve been following Leqaa Kordia’s case for some time, and the updates has been growing worse. Lawmakers were not allowed to visit her last month.

Now her lawyers cannot find her.
When Texas lawmakers tried to visit 33-year-old “political prisoner” Leqaa Kordia at an ICE facility, she’d already lost 50 pounds and was running a high fever.

By Friday, she was hospitalized. But her family still has not been able to locate her.

The Trump admin has used 2339A—the “material support for terrorism” statute—against Black Lives Matter protesters in Alabama and anti-ICE demonstrators in Texas.

The ex-DOJ prosecutor who pioneered the use of 2339A says he's never seen anything like it.

The US previously stored agricultural goods in warehouses.
Then warehouses were used for storing domestic manufactured goods.
Then the US used warehouses for imported goods.

Now the US is planning to use warehouses to store people. Indefinitely.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

This is torture. The US is torturing children. Children whose words and whose art contain infinitely more humanity than the people keeping them detained.
