I know a lot of folks don't realize this, but AGDQ and SGDQ are not the only times of year that GDQ is live!
We have a TON of speedrun shows nearly every day through the GDQ Hotfix Programming, where you get to see a whole slew of talent and games that don't always get to be on mainline!

While cancelling Nitro is all well and good, just a reminder that age verification itself won't go away as a whole unless KOSA, the SCREEN Act, and tons more are buried and done with.

Yes! Entire scenes as sources is a thing in OBS and it's extremely useful when designing something modular!

I learned you can add scenes as sources in OBS, so you can set up a scene for something like a chat connected to a webcam and background, then import that scene into other scenes to keep that webcam and chat altogether as one group. It makes it really convenient to add commonly used sources.

What are some games where to actually beat the game, you need to 100% it?
I want to plan an episode of Do All The Things down the line where the category is "Any%" for every game, but the games require you to 100% it to get an ending. Only game that comes to my mind is Spyro: Season of Ice

I am begging speedrun communities to please take the resources and guides in your discord servers and mirror them on the Guides and Resources tabs of the SRC page for their respective games. I've been complaining about this for years.
time to use the discord outrage to say that everything to start learning yars speedrunning is hosted on the src page, no need to join a discord and every game should have that.

I worry about the impact this has on events for more than just FPE.
Most people rely on the video sharing properties for commentary, but nevermind teams who run all audio through discord.
VDO ninja and WHIP are about to see a lot more use.
