On your bike with the shrew and drop it a couple of kms away. See what happens then. 😄

It was exciting to see the difference in our defence compared to the last few games. Gives hope!

Icing on the cake: his family had traveled from Wigan to watch his debut. 💛

Yes, remarkable.

Still watching the football and, dare I say, it’s actually been entertaining. We have a baller on our hands with Mfuni!
Despite everything am skipping Klem/The Blood Pact this evening to tune in and watch the ‘Orns in Hull. I may regret it. And I may end up watching a little of both. #WatfordFC

As the dominant species it is certainly their right to remind us who’s boss every now and then.

So many of the audio books I try to listen to using the Online Bibliotheek don’t work. Just get an error message. Anyone any idea why?

I’m working on a story for @thesicktimes.org about things people with Long Covid and other energy-limiting illnesses (as well as their caregivers) can do to protect themselves and their communities from ICE. I’d love to speak with any of the following:

Genuinely laughing at the thought of this.
Feel like the only highlight we’ll have for the rest of the season is listening to Derek Payne attempt to pronounce ‘Goglichidze’. #WatfordFC

Lol. That idea is truly hilarious. He’s still struggling with Chakvetadze and recent Saturdays have only been rescued by listening to the many variations of Kjerrumgaard.

I recently read Britt-Marie was here - really enjoyed it. Devoured the Beartown series. You’re making me jealous with your subscription. 😀

Studied in Toulouse for a year as part of my degree. It’s a while ago now so it would be lovely to go back and rediscover the city so many years later.
Toulouse is a city in southern France that’s absolutely worth visiting. I particularly love its colourful streets and beautiful riverside setting, and there’s a lively culinary scene as well. Check out my Toulouse guide: velvetescape.com/things-to-se...

Writing and translating work takes priority as and when clients need me. But the peripheral work activities are long gone.

Confronting clear up of home office. Blog and writing goal setting and results. Stopped abruptly Feb 2020. Covid hit, followed by #longcovid. Since then goal setting has mostly involved getting through days being able to keep the bare minimum of daily life running.
