Exactly this. It takes a long time to establish the base line - and then it’s all about protecting it.
I totally get this. I have a baseline that I have reached an acceptance over. I am very protective of that baseline.
People often push the disabled to take risks with our health.
They think if it’s already “that bad” who cares if it gets worse
We care.
Our baselines mean everything to us.
Whatever limited function we have left is always worth protecting.
You don’t get it until you get it.

We had to say goodbye to this little fellow yesterday. Took him to the vet and he had a heart attack there. Turns out he had a heart condition. We didn’t know. Usually it means cats don’t get older than 4 but he was one of the 3-5% that lives beyond that. He was part of our family for 8 years. 💔

My son will vote on Wednesday for the first time (here in NL). We sat together this evening and watched the Een Vandaag TV debate. Politics really has become a complete shit show. I truly hope the results Wednesday set us on a new path.

It took a while but I pieced it together. Voice mode somehow got activated when I went to bed.

I cancelled my iFollow subscription following Cleverly’s departure so this match tonight is the first match this season I have seen live. My half time thought is that I regret nothing. #Watford They don’t really look like they know what they’re supposed to be doing.
