For my first Flashes post: a look at my dog Pippin when he was rescued vs. now. He was 4 months old when someone dumped him by the road. He was missing most of his hair from mange and too weak to walk. Now he is a diva who acts like he’s too weak to walk when he wants me to carry him around.

Agents said they arrested eight people at Puerto Nuevo on immigration charges and found two child victims of human trafficking. However, no one has been charged with trafficking-related offenses. The ACLU and others are calling for transparency.
