Beautiful blue-green Opal in this new pendant. I have used the keum boo method to bond 24 k gold to the sterling silver dome and then created a black patina to really make it pop. Simple and visually appealing piece! Now in my Etsy shop:

What a way to start my day! I heard the distinctive calls of a couple of Pileated Woodpeckers while I was out opening up the greenhouse this morning. I watched this pair of males circle this tree again and again and go through various coordinated moves. Fascinating to observe.

This amazing silver coin from the reign of Edward I (1276-1307) was a great find. It is very fragile and I had to set it very carefully in 14k Gold for this necklace.
