The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

I’m at the point in GW2’s base story where I’m getting ready to go after the big baddie. I liked the story up until this point, but now that I am “the chosen one,” it leaves a bit to be desired.
It’s no worse than ARR though, and I’m still having fun running/gunning. ☺️

I need to make a correction to a post I made earlier. @exedout.bsky.social pointed out an error in my post; acetaminophen (the active component in Tylenol) was discovered in 1878. It wasn’t widely available in the US as a pain med until the 1950’s is what happened.
