Misguided, shortsighted, unfathomable! A true community museum displaying the objects of Leeds Social History - everyday life in context. Also actively engaged in contemporary collecting from the community it represents and lies within. LCC should be shouting about it, not closing it down.

Today a BBC Look North reporter will visit Alwoodley to look into our air quality. I just checked and our air pollution is worse than the rest of Leeds, as usual.

🐻 Tell us your ideas on how the Bear Pit could be used in our simple consultation.

This is your chance to shape the future of the Bear Pit site. How can the community make the best use of the area? How often should it be open?

Now’s the time to help keep blossom trees blooming: buff.ly/X4tfYMW

Though their display of delicate petals can be fleeting, a donation to our Plant a Tree Appeal could help us ensure they flower for future generations to marvel.

Tree planting is one of our core environmental projects. Dedicate a tree in memory or plant one as a gift with the National Trust.
