Must read here by a former senior AHS executive. Alberta's healthcare system is being run into the ground by ideological Dunning-Kruger politicians.

Smith is an incompetent politician who is all bluster and no action. She is the same as PP. They can destroy things but they can’t rebuild anything. Everything Smith and the UCP have touched has decreased access and quality and increased costs and even increased deaths. She will fail to do her part!

“None of this was something that Albertans were asked about in an election. And now it's being rammed through the legislature without any consultation with stakeholders, let alone Albertans,” said FOM's executive director, Chris Gallaway.

And yet no UCP MLA stops to think “Are they trying to recall me because my constituents don’t like the policies I’m supporting?”

No, they believe their own conspiracy of some left wing activist group.
Just reinforces why they need to go.

According to the Elections Act, voter registry information is to be used only for revising the voter register or for conducting elections. Trying to get a recall petition against yourself quashed is not one of these purposes. Did Dale Nally commit a crime?

It has been a horror show.

Taxpayers lost over $100 million when the UCP tried to privatize lab services. And then the UCP tried to cover it up by preventing the Auditor General from sharing the report showed their wasteful spending.

The chaos & corruption never ends with this government.

I'm not a fan of recall, petitions, and referenda.

However, it is entirely predictable that these tools would be used against a government that refuses to consult on policy and a caucus that has put partisanship ahead of listening to constituents.

It is impossible to appeal to any member of this UCP government. They only listen to their base and their donors. They do not care at all what anyone else thinks and they do not care who they harm. They are all monsters and they have all sold their souls.

Nenshi is right on this one! Smith needs to call an elxn on this before taking further steps towards instituting her preferred healthcare "solutions". Let's see how ABtans feel? Warning, Smith won't like the answer. So knowing that, how can the UCP juggernaut justify its intentions? RECALL 'em all!

So is Mark Carney going to go along with the suspension of human rights by MAGA government in Alberta?
You cant' do nation-building by allowing an autocratic government to suspend the charter rights of citizens.
Just say no Mark.
it's pretty straightforward.
