📊 New data from @alsoasked.com shows Google is aggressively increasing the number of AIOs in People Also Asked questions, with it over doubling in three months from 18% to 38% of English queries 🤯

Nobody "just" targets one keyword per piece of content anymore. So it's always worth running your target terms through AlsoAsked to see what people are also asking! Get it? AlsoAsked, also asking? Haha! :D But it's one of the best tools I have used, no doubt!

I just stumbled upon alsoasked.com, which is extremely helpful for exploring what people are searching for. Great little tool for planning content or finding long-tail keywords. Worth a look if you’re into SEO.

Brodie Clark on X: SEO News: the integration of Ask anything in Al Mode represents a clear shift in Google's anticipation of user needs. The Al Mode search suggestions unit first appeared earlier this month within product grids, now it's started to show more visibly in standard SERPs. This is People Also Ask on steroids, where the questions are longer and more in-depth, appearing as search suggestions that trigger within Al Mode. Technically, this feature is more similar to the People Also Search For unit, but the search queries are posed exclusively like questions, making it feel more PAA-like. For those who like to use tools like Also Asked to help inform content creation by using PAA data, the new Ask anything in Al Mode dataset could end up being a highly useful dataset as an extension. This is very cool: I noticed today that @alsoasked.com has been cited in 17 academic research papers as the tool used for intent research 🤩

We analysed 8,489,351 English PAA results with @alsoasked.com over the last few weeks and found a whopping 12.6% of answers in these boxes are now AI-generated by Google 😱

Will update monthly. Maybe represents opportunity where content answering “full” intent does not exist? 🤔
