My 11:35 am vinyl as fill out my passport application is the excellent 1987 smooth jazz/bossa nova debut album "Time And Tide" by Basia which still holds up after all these decades. She also did some excellent albums with the group "Matt Bianco".

Today would have been Polish rock singer Kora's 74th birthday. I highly recommend checking her out in Maanam! An excellent post punk rock band in Poland. Here is Kora, Basia, radio host Marek Niedźwiecki and British trumpeter Kevin Robinson, 1994ish
