Look around, and you will see how things have fallen apart--" The next few panels show refugees, animals dying of dehydration, and a tree going bare. "Feet. Claws. Roots--All have been torn from the earth they were planted upon." The first panel shows a dead goobue in Thanalan, covered with vines and cacti growing on its back along with other plants. The man from the previous page continues speaking: "The dead goobue was a child of Coerthas." A panel shows the land of Coerthas before the Calamity, lush and green with snowy mountains in the background. "The Calamity shattered its native home, and it fled before destruction as a caravan flies before a sandstorm." A panel shows the red meteor descending on Coerthas. The next panel shows the goobue wandering through deep snow fields. "Years, it wandered. We found it dying and received its memories." "Years, it wandered. We found it dying and received its memories." The first panel shows the goobue jumping across a stream in Gridania, with orange flowers in the fields surrounding the stream. The man from the previous page continues speaking: "It had gathered seeds from every land it passed through, and they flower upon its corpse, a living map of its loss and exile." The very last panel shows the pink haired woman laying on the ground looking toward the sky as puffs of air escape from her lips. There is a crack in her dark armor and her hand is covered in blood. This seems to be the end of her adventure. "And upon us... No flowers bloom." The man concludes speaking.
