Reminder that early Fortnite stole dance choreography from people of color and only responded when they were publicly called out or sued. That team has been telling the world who they are pretty consistently for a long time. We need to listen.
SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

This happened to me once.
My exercise bike broke. No bike shop, no retailer, not even the manufacturer will step up to fix a broken crank arm. And so I've just had to spend several hundreds on ordering a new bike and other equipment.
In the process of being turned down for repairs, I hurt my heel so I'm limping now. 🪦

I've been watching Twin Peaks for the first time (five episodes left in season 2), and the most shocking thing that's happened is I learned that "jodhpurs" are a real article of clothing, and not a nonsense word that The Brothers Chaps invented in a Strong Bad Email.

Personally, I don't know what Halloween is supposed to be other than a product that is sold to me. Nostalgia for childhood experiences I didn't have? It's bad enough that christmas products are in stores already, I don't need to also see jackolanterns all month.

I'm taking a break from streaming at least for the month of October. And I already can't believe how I'm working so much more every single day of my "vacation." I have so many appointments, so many unfinished projects. The 4-5 hours I save per day not streaming vanish in an instant. I hate it.
