I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.
It isn’t going to solve the world’s problems, but this kind of humanity is a hell of a start.

There was a year where I started writing poetry to perform at slams with my friends, and I’d often write at whatever computer I was currently studying at on campus. So, my digital notepad for poem ideas (or whatever things you usually jot down) was my Gmail drafts folder.
